Dad loved on mom and his unborn baby to allow for optimal oxytocin release. There is nothing more beautiful than watching two humans loving their baby earthside.
Ever since my own first birth I have been in awe of labor. This love drives deeper and deeper into my soul with every birth I witness. Women are in their most powerful and vulnerable moments all at the same time. The strength and bravery of women going through such a miraculous journey always amazes me. Heather was no exception.
I had the pleasure of photographing and assisting at the birth of this beautiful little boy. His mama was a fighter! With help from her supportive husband and midwife, she focused on her breathing and within 40 minutes of me arriving she pushed out her son, Liam.
