“You were an unexpected surprise.
The defining moment. The collision of stars that slammed into me hard and sent my neat little world plummeting into the ocean.
I never expected it to be you, you know?
But it is you. It’s all you. And now there’s no looking back.”

She stumbled upon her future groom one day on instagram and did what any smart woman would do in this day and age and followed him on Instagram. Some time went by and while was dropping her nephew off at school one morning she saw him flying 12,000 feet up in the sky. She was curious about this fellow and decided to be brave and slid into his dms. They have been together ever since.
This wedding was special to me because the groom is my brother and only sibling. I have seen first hand what a fantastic father Anthony is and what a beautiful mom Leandra has been to my niece and nephew. They have a love that I have strived for in my personal life and I knew I wanted to capture that love in the images for them. Their wedding wasn’t huge or traditional by any means, but it was an unforgettable one.
We started the day at their home, my mother and I decorated the backyard for their small reception following the ceremony and I built the bouquets and floral wreath their dog Lonnie was going to wear. When the officiant arrived we all piled in their off-roading vehicles and headed into the mountains to witness them exchange vows. They drove with caution because the children wanted to ride in the back of the truck bed, but it was nothing short of exciting. It may come as shock to those that don’t know me but thrill seeking is in our blood and was unintentionally included in this wedding.
Being that paramotoring is what brought them together, it only seemed appropriate for the grooms father (my dad) to surprise them by planning a fly of over during their intimate ceremony including some of Anthony’s closest flying buddies. They came in from the back and dove I’m down right between the bride and groom giving the officiant quite a scare and everyone else a good laugh.
The rest of the evening was filled with the best Mexican food in the world, some beautiful toasts, and classic rock music we could have danced all night to if we weren’t all exhausted from a day full of emotions and chasing children around.
