I am so thankful I was able to be a part of this beautiful birth. It was just mom-to-be, the fantastic midwife (Alicia) and superb doula (Jetta) & very fresh birth photographer (me) there to welcome this little man to the world. Of course I had to be there when he met his Dad <3

Dad's on a mission.
His mission as the CEO of Helping Hands for Freedom is to provide military children and families the emotional support and financial assistance needed when dealing with a family member lost, wounded, or serving multiple deployments in Iraq and/or Afghanistan.
Dad missed the birth of his son but made it home 8 days after to get some quality time in before he had to head back on his walk across America with the rest of his crew at Route For The Brave. On top of capturing his birth, I was fortunate enough to photograph baby Darin's first time meeting mom, and tonight I was able to capture his first time meeting Dad.
