I am so thankful I was able to be a part of this beautiful birth. It was just mom-to-be, the fantastic midwife (Alicia) and superb doula (Jetta) & very fresh birth photographer (me) there to welcome this little man to the world. Of course I had to be there when he met his Dad <3

Partied (forced myself to stay up) late tonight to finish building sets for her newborn session. All good fun when there is music and creativity in the air. There came a time when the music stopped and I couldn't even hear the wind blowing (or my husband snoring down the hall), it was just uncommonly quiet. It brought me back to this serene moment when she first had skin to skin with Daddy. It was just her & her daddy. And what a great moment this was to see... her first time trying to nurse.
